Women, Infant and Children (WIC)

The Wahkiakum County Health Department administers the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Program. WIC is a supplemental food program (income based) for pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants and children up to the age of 5. WIC provides nutrition education from a certified nutritionist, vouchers for nutritious food, farmer’s market education and general education for the health of mother and child. Referrals given as needed. WIC clinics are typically Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Cathlamet Health Department and available on the 1st Wednesday of the month at the Rosburg clinic.
